Travis Clark is the lead singer of a band known as We The Kings. They are a newer rock group that is gathering a large fan base. They just released their first self-titled album and are working on another one. Travis utilizes various social networking sites such as MySpace, Facebook and most importantly Twitter. I am following Travis on Twitter and he tweets on a regular basis. He posts pictures from the tour bus and concerts, always managing to keep fans informed and up-to-date.
Travis always updates Twitter, posting tweets such as:” I'm so sorry I couldn't stay outside and sign.. I promise I'll make it up to you :)”This shows that Travis is engaged and really cares about his fans. He also has set up a blog : www.whoistravisclark.com . In the blog, he updates on concerts, upcoming albums and other funny outtakes from the band.
I think that Travis does a very good job at updating his Twitter and keeping his fans as his number one priority. Twitter is a way to connect with celebrities and feel like they belong. In my opinion, Travis cares about his fans and constantly keeps them in the know about upcoming shows and concerts. Travis tells his fans that he appreciates them and is happy to be doing what he’s doing.
