Hayley Williams of Paramore

Hayley Williams is the lead singer of pop-punk band, Paramore. At only 20 years old, Hayley and her band have had three hit records.
I follow Hayley on Twitter religiously. She uses her Twitter account in a personal way. She tweets to her friends, boyfriend and fellow bandmates. Some musicians do not run their own Twitter and have others do it for them, posting things such as upcoming concerts, events or contests. Paramore has their own seperate Twitter account that they use for those purposes.

I like how Hayley uses her Twitter. Although she only follows 122 people compared to the 372,918 that follow her, she still keeps her fans in mind as she tweets. She gives updates on what she is doing several times throughout the day and gives shoutouts to the cities they are playing in. She also uploads personal photos from her phone often.
Hayley keeps a personal blog on Paramore's official Web site and often when she updates it, she posts the link in a tweet. A few times, she has used Twitter (along with her blog) to address rumors that were being said about her or the band.

Twitter is a definite help to the entertainment industry. This is probably the closest we will get to our favorite celebrities. It's a great way for celebrities to connect with their fans.
